JIET Holds Kickoff Networking Event in Hanoi for Establishing a Vietnam Branch - A New Stage to Connect IT Companies in Vietnam and Japan

On September 4, JIET held the "Vietnam Branch Kickoff Networking Event" in Hanoi, Vietnam, in preparation for establishing the Vietnam branch. Mr. Abe - BU4 Director of Tinhvan Software, serving as the head of JIET’s Vietnam branch, presented the branch’s operational policies.

Since joining JIET in 2022, Mr. Abe has mainly participated in activities in Japan. However, he is currently based in Vietnam as the head of JIET’s Vietnam branch, aiming to contribute to both Vietnamese and Japanese IT companies. At the networking event, around 20 companies, including existing JIET members and those considering joining, gathered to exchange opinions on expectations for the Vietnam branch, requests for JIET, and effective ways to utilize JIET’s resources.

JIET is the largest domestic business association in Japan and the only one with overseas branches. It aims for further growth by promoting industry development, providing networking opportunities, proposing policies and standards, enhancing education and skills, and supporting member companies.
