On September 3–4, 2026, Tinhvan Japan participated in "AI Innovation Tokyo 2026," one of Japan’s premier exhibitions for AI and Digital Transformation (DX), held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho館. The event provided a valuable platform to showcase Tinhvan Japan’s technological capabilities, strengthen connections with the Japanese business community, and share deep insights into AI-driven software development and legacy system modernization.
High Visitor Engagement at the Booth
Throughout the two-day exhibition, Tinhvan Japan’s booth hosted live demonstrations and product introductions for "Codelens," our proprietary AI product. The booth remained vibrant with interactive screen demos, Q&A sessions, and technical exchanges.
Notably, representatives and decision-makers from numerous major Japanese corporations visited the booth to experience Codelens firsthand. Many expressed strong interest in integrating Codelens into their actual business operations, laying a promising foundation for future strategic collaborations.

A key highlight of the exhibition was the keynote presentation delivered by Tinhvan Japan CEO Nguyen Tu.
"Can AI Truly 'Automate' Legacy System Modernization?"
The presentation drew an audience of over 120 attendees, reflecting the high level of interest among Japanese business and technology leaders in solving the challenges of legacy system modernization.
During his talk, Mr. Nguyen Tu shared real-world insights from Tinhvan’s 30+ years as a Systems Integrator (SIer). He highlighted the crucial distinction between simple "rehosting" (infrastructure migration) and true "modernization" (architectural transformation). He emphasized that the most time-consuming bottleneck in modernization projects is decoding existing systems where design documentation has been lost or original developers have retired.
Based on these practical experiences, Tinhvan Japan validated the application of the AI-DLC methodology across live projects. The speech addressed what AI can analyze from legacy code, how lost specifications and business logic can be reconstructed, which stages can be automated, and where human judgment remains essential—drawing enthusiastic feedback and strong engagement from the audience.
